Diane Shiell and Megan Hess have practiced "non-traditional" real estate since they started their own real estate company in 2002. A recent innovation for them is the decision to concentrate on the use of real estate for charitable giving.
Diane and her husband, the Rev. Dr. Dell Shiell, have 10 years experience in charitable estate planning, church endowment development and capital campaign fundraising. It was natural to look for ways to combine real estate and charitable giving.
Diane and Megan are a mother-daughter team. Diane has a B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota and Megan has a B.S. degree from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from Regis University. Diane got her real estate license in 1993 and Megan got her real estate license in 2001. Diane earned her GRI designation in 1993. Both Diane and Megan earned the e-Pro® designation in 2001. Pastor Dell Shiell is a fulltime, ordained pastor at Living Waters Lutheran Church in North Port, Florida. A Certified Financial Planner® Dr. Shiell serves as a consultant to Venice Realty, Inc.
The Shiell family has always believed in and generously supported non-profits and religious organizations. They regard this both as an expression of their faith and a way to do what they can to help make the world a better place.
